The HKSA organizes cultural and social activities for its members on a frequent basis, which include a welcoming lunch at the beginning of the fall semester, hotpot dinners, the Cantonese Table in Mathey College and other festival celebrations. Despite the fact that quite a number of the members speak Cantonese, you do not need to speak the language to join the HKSA. Everyone is welcomed!
